Exhibit: "Farm to Table: Farms of Western Pennsylvania"

Surrounding the urban center of Pittsburgh is a countryside that includes more than 10,000 farms. From growing fresh produce to raising livestock and making dairy products, the region’s farms are an abundant resource and critical partner in the local economy. By providing healthy food and promoting respect for the natural environment, as well as advancing techniques in sustainable agriculture, our farms also maintain an important connection with the region’s urban residents. This show was created to celebrate the beauty and fruitfulness of the farms of western Pennsylvania.
